Happy New Year 2010! [#1, 4 Jan 2010 - 08:30 GMT, ver.1.0]
This is our 'Happy New Year' card for 2010. On the front side there is a comprehensive calendar of 2010. Weekends, bank and public holidays (for England and Wales, UK) are set to red colour.
On the rear side, there are our wishes and the recipient's postal address. The stamps become part of the message: ANTIFORMA Design & George Primentas wish you a healthy, inspiring and exciting... '10. The postage price for a first class postcard/letter in England is 39p. If you do the maths, we had to use 7*2p and 5*5p stamps on each postcard to match the price. Needless to say that our 3 nearest post offices, have sold out their 2p stamps! Blame us for that!
Of course the postal price for postcards (airmail) to the rest of Europe and to the rest of the world is different (56p and 62p respectively). So we had to use a different combination of stamps for those cases: less colourful for Europe but more vibrant for the rest of the world!
